2025 Internship
2025 Internship Seminar at ISM
From March 11th to 12th, 2025, the AgFReM Consortium (Innovative Research Consortium for Asian Agri-Forest Resource Management) held an international internship at the Institute of Statistical Mathematics. This internship welcomed 14 participants from many countries: Vietnam, Nepal, Indonesia, the Philippines, Canada, Czech Republic, Austria, and Japan, including 11 international researchers. The AgFReM Consortium was established to promote collaborative research and human resource development for the realization of sustainable agro-forest resource management, which plays a critical role in achieving the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) in Asian countries. The consortium has actively facilitated international exchange and cooperation through workshops and educational programs across various nations. During this year’s internship, participants shared detailed insights and real-world challenges related to agro-forest resource management in their respective countries. Furthermore, discussions were held on effective management strategies, allowing researchers to exchange expertise on innovative approaches. Through these discussions, the event provided valuable opportunities for deepening international research collaboration, fostering sustainable development prospects, and strengthening the network of experts dedicated to solving environmental and resource management challenges.
